Hello, I’m Hiba Abou Lteif and I’m a registered and licensed clinical dietitian in Lebanon and Abu Dahbi (by the Head of Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD)). I am specialized in therapeutic, community, clinical, and pediatric nutrition, and have extensive knowledge in food product technology, quality and food service management, and nutrition assessment and counseling. I have been working as a Nutrition Counselor for more than 9 years. Currently I have been working at Veisaine healthcare and wellness center for the past 4 years, for whom I provide nutrition-related advice, create diet plans for adults and children based on different dietary needs, and monitor the clients’ progress. My experience also comprises working at the Harley Street Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi, where I was in charge of conducting nutrition assessments and follow-ups for patients who suffer from various medical conditions. Additionally, I was the Head of dietary department at Medical 2000 Hospital in Lebanon for two years. I also worked with NUTRINCODE and LIFEGENETICS laboratories to do DNA genetic testing and analysis. I have grown fond of working with children, and became specialized in performing nutrition assessments and formulating nutritional plans for children of all ages with varying medical conditions including cancer, renal disease, heart disease, developmental disabilities, and cystic fibrosis. I also introduce nutrition and diet programs within schools by raising awareness on and teaching nutrition for children and school staff. Moreover, I have experience in providing dietary consultations in relation to pediatric lactation and breastfeeding for mothers. In all my years working as a dietitian, I have delivered a great number of presentations in schools and companies. I volunteered at many companies as part of their yearly wellness program, like ADDC, GASCO, Emirates Steel, and recently, Technica international. I have also earned the highest number of patients record in the UAE when it comes to DNA test nutrition campaigns in schools, nurseries and companies. Over the course of my career, I had the privilege and the opportunity to be featured in many radio interviews and hosted for morning shows in their nutrition segments. At the time being, I am featured weekly in a radio segment on Sawt El Mada Radio station on the “Sabah El Mada” program, in addition to monthly appearances on OTV and Suboro TV, as well as multiple appearances on Tele Liban, AbuDhabi TV and other radio stations like Fame Fm, the Aghani Aghani morning show, Sawt chaib radio station, and Montecarlo radio station. I was featured in many magazines and articles as well, including Al-Sada magazine’s, AbuDhabi World English, and AbuDhabi Week magazine. In addition, I had one international appearance on EZELiving TV in The Good Dr show (English Interview).
