My name is Laure Bou Karroum. I graduated as a physical therapist from the Lebanese University Faculty of Public Health. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Neurological Re-education. I have 4 years of experience at Ain w zain medical village, Semkanieh Rehabilitation and development center, saint Georges hospital, Hadath Lebanese university center, Arcenciel, Al Sahel Hospital, and the military hospital. My profession permits me to work with children, elders, adults, athletes, operational cases, and Cardio-Thoracic cases. I am specialized in neurological cases such as stroke, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, Multiple sclerosis, Spina bifida, Guillain Barré, hydrocephalus, Alzheimer's disease, Ataxia, epilepsy, seizures, Muscular Dystrophy, peripheral neuropathy, Meningitis, Amyotrophic Lateral sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. My focus when working with neurological cases specifically and any other cases is on achieving the patient's goal and expectation by putting an individualized treatment plan which aims to help them regain their functional activities, become more independent in their activities of daily living, and to prevent any additional disorders. Being a Physical Therapist and a specialist in neurological cases allows me to implement my knowledge about the importance of taking care of our body and the power of our brain and mind in the healing and rehabilitation processes. Hoping that my work could enhance people's lives and make them better.
