Ever since I was a kid, medicine was my passion. This passion drew my way and carried me through my education at the Faculty of Health, where I majored in physical therapy. I am Manar Amaneddine, and welcome to my world! I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Licensed Physical Therapist by virtue of a Permit of Practicing the Profession of Physical Therapy in Lebanon. I am a holder of a DPT Degree from Beirut Arab University and a Bachelor Honors Degree in Physical Therapy from the Lebanese University. With more than 5 years of experience, I acquired knowledge in all the major fields, offering patient-service skills and working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Beyond clinical knowledge and technical ability, I had the opportunity and the “will” to be an academic instructor at the Faculty of Public Health – Lebanese University. This role helps me get the right balance of teaching and research, and thus, keep pace with emerging physical therapy techniques and studies. I am responsible for instructing students from all walks of life and helping them shine and stand out! Also, because internship changes the whole equation, I was a dedicated trainee at Ain Wazein Medical Village in all departments; in addition to having three months of internship at Friends of the Disabled Association (I’dad School) in Neurologic Physical Therapy. I believe that we glow differently when we’re actually happy, and the work I do as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and fitness trainer at NNGH Rehab Center, Farah Foundation, and Barouk Medical Center, is happiness made visible! As for females, I take them to the next level. My passion in women's wellness is contagious, where I feel both confident and enthusiastic to train female clients, especially pregnant women, and make all the difference through their pregnancy journey! Finally, because a physical therapist is a speech therapist as well – most of the time - I pursued my studies in the English language and gained the TOEFL IBT, Educational Testing Service (ETS), AMIDEAST in January 2020, and I hold a First Aid Certificate from the Lebanese Red Cross. In Physical Therapy everything starts with a step, and I am stronger with every human step!
