Change is not always easy, especially when trying to change ourselves and old habits. As children, we are influenced by our environment and our caregivers. We often develop unhealthy beliefs and as we grow older, we tend to reinforce those beliefs by recreating the same emotions and experiences. We may ask ourselves why we continue doing “that”, which is not working for us. And before we know it, there we are again, in the same predicament. Science has shown us that personality is not fixed and we are not helpless in changing ourselves and our lives. My goal is to help clients gain awareness and be able to incorporate steps to making lasting changes. Clients can learn how to break free of repetitive patterns (thinking, feeling, and behavioral) that are not serving them and replace them with new, healthy, desired ways of being. Often times, these repetitive patterns affect our relationships and the kinds of relationships we pursue. I am passionate about helping my clients find healthy relationships while improving self-worth, confidence, and self-love.
